ZHIYUN has released new firmware update (V. 1.90) for CRANE 3 LAB. This new firmware update allows CRANE 3 LAB to support camera control over Z-CAM and Blackmagic camera systems.

This new firmware update also includes:

• Fixed some other known issues with improved system stability;
• Fixed the malfunctioned focus/zoom control wheel/rocker when using the zoom/focus motor after updating the firmware;
• Added inclined angle compensation on Y-Axis for reduced angle deviation and better stability; 
• Fixed angle deviation and better stability when using the joystick to control Y-axis under Following mode.

How to update the firmware

The firmware has to be updated via ZY Play app. Open the app > CRANE 3 LAB page > Click “Connect now” > Click the prompt notice for firmware update > Download the firmware > Connect the gimbal wifi > Go back to the app and click “Upgrade now” > Complete
